Scientists identify 4 extremely young asteroid families
Publicado em 26 setembro 2018Sao Paulo, Sep 25 : Brazilian scientists have identified four new families of extremely young asteroids, taking the total number to 13. The four families, all of which are less than seven million years old, orbit between Mars and Jupiter as part of a grouping known as the Main Asteroid Belt. Current Article Novel AI-based platform diagnoses Zika with 95% accuracy
Publicado em 14 junho 2018Sao Paulo: Brazilian scientists have developed an artificial intelligence (AI) platform that can diagnose Zika and other pathogens from patients’ blood with over 95 per cent accuracy. The method combines mass spectrometry, which can identify tens of thousands of molecules present in blood serum, including lipids, peptides, and fragments of DNA and RNA, with an AI algorithm capable of finding patterns associated with diseases of viral, bacterial, fungal and even genetic origin. A mass [...]ver notícia
