Announcements include irrigation credits, investment fund and citrus growing center
The Government of São Paulo, through the Secretariat of Agriculture and Supply of the State of SP, Secretariat of Economic Development and Desenvolve SP, will announce next Thursday (12/12), at 15:30 pm, at Palácio dos Bandeirantes, a package of actions in favor of São Paulo's agribusiness, which together, amount to R$340 million in investments.
Among the actions are the announcement of a line of credit for irrigation through the Irriga + SP Program, a partnership between the Secretariat of Agriculture and Supply and Desenvolve SP, the award of the “Agro Municipality - Paulista Ranking” for 117 municipalities and the historic delivery of the 100th Rural Environmental Registry (CAR).
Another important announcement will be the amount of the Investment Fund for Agroindustrial Production Chains (FIAGRO). These resources will be earmarked for investments in the logistics infrastructure of agribusiness in the State of São Paulo. Through this FIDC Agro, the government will use the modern investment structure of the capital market. The São Paulo citrus sector will also be highlighted at the event. The Center for Applied Research in Innovation and Sustainability will be announced, a partnership between Fundecitrus, the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) and the Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture (ESALQ/USP).
