Offer Description
The Center for Innovation in Nanostructured Systems and Topical Administration (NanoTop) at FCFRP-USP is offering an immediate postdoctoral position.
This project focuses on developing and applying nanoparticulate systems responsive to sound and light stimuli for treating cutaneous neoplasms. The emphasis is on evaluating the interactions between physical methods, nanoparticulate systems, and the biological environment, particularly regarding antitumor activity against melanoma and the associated immune response.
We seek candidates who have completed a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences within the last 12 months, preferably with a focus on chemistry, physics, and biology. Ideal candidates will have strong technical and scientific expertise, with proven experience in: Synthesis and characterization of photosensitive substances, Cell culture and biological evaluation involving physical stimuli and nanoparticles, Animal experimentation, including tumor induction, In vivo assessment of antitumor and immune responses, In vitro and in vivo toxicological evaluation, Gene expression analysis: Immunohistochemistry and western blot, Flow cytometry, Confocal and fluorescence microscopy.

The vacancy is open to Brazilians and foreigners. The selected candidate will receive a Post-Doctoral Fellowship from the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) in the amount of R$ 12,000.00 per month and a Technical Reserve equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship to cover unforeseen expenses directly related to the research activity.
