Zoologists have named a new species of amoeba in honor of Gandalf

In honor of the wizard Gandalf from the books “the Hobbit, or There and back again” and “Lord of the rings” scientists have named a new species of amoeba found recently in Brazil. According to researchers, the “shell” of these animals resembles the hat of the famous character.
