Pollution now part of the geological record in Brazil where ´plastic rocks´ have been found

Researchers on Brazil´s volcanic Trindade Island, a remote turtle refuge, have found rocks made from plastic debris—evidence of humanity´s growing influence over Earth´s geological cycles.
Melted plastic has become intertwined with rocks on the island, located 1,140 km (708 miles) from the southeastern state of Espirito Santo.
