Study finds cleft lip caused by genes and environment

A study by researchers at University College London and the University of São Paulo in Brazil has revealed how a combination of genetic and environmental factors lead to the formation of the condition in a developing foetus. Study suggests sugar consumption and early interruption of breastfeeding are risk factors for dental caries in infancy
Publicado emThe Brazilian study, published in journal Community Dentistry and Oral Epidemiology, found that inclusion of sugar and early interruption of breastfeeding are the main factors that contribute to the appearance of dental caries in two year olds.
